MFL Housing Loan Scheme has been launched to fulfil the dream of the limited income people by extending financial support in the form of term loan for constructing a house and/or purchasing an apartment/readymade house/commercial space.

What is Call Money Market ?

Call money market operation is a product of Money Market. Casual requirement of funds of Banks and NBFIs are met through this operation. This short-term lending and borrowing are made between Banks and Financial Institutions and the interest rates are fixed on the basis of demand and supply of money, which may vary everyday. Banks and Non-Bank Financial Institutions meet their liquidity requirement through call money transaction.

Banks and NBFIs borrow from this money market for the following purpose:

	To fill the gaps or temporary mismatches in Asset-liability management;

	To meet the mandatory liquidity requirement CRR and SLR; and

	To meet casual demand for funds arising out of large outflows;

Involvement of MIDAS Financing Limited:

Operation in Call money market is a new product of MIDAS Financing Limited. MIDAS Financing Limited started operation in Call Money Market from April, 2005 with a small amount of fund. Now it is gradually increasing day by day and still dominating in the lending side.
